"Digital Design 4 Recycling" process for fibre-reinforced lightweight structures. Our goal is a holistic development approach for recyclable lightweight products based on fibre-reinforced polymers. By using a virtual process chain, we offer the possibility of understanding and predicting process-structure-property relationships of recycled materials with varying properties.

The digital provision of material properties as well as process and environmental influences plays a key role in the phases of material separation, material preparation, material reprocessing and even during application. This fresh approach enables us to consider the ecological dimension as early as the design process.
